During the time of November and December, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange (DICE) has met in online sessions, together with Washington University in St. Louis, Dublin City University, the University of Hertfordshire, the University of Leeds, the Ohio State University, the University of Montreal, the University of Nottingham, the William & Mary Law School, and Temple University.
ZHANG Zhengyi, the vice director of the DICE took part in the sessions, which are hosted by LIU Ling, the student program coordinator. Faculty from different universities introduced the campus history, facilities, atmosphere, locations, and requirements of the application, and the arrangements of courses. In addition, under the epidemic of COVID-19, the faculty introduced different teaching modes and countermeasures of epidemic prevention to students so that students will be able to receive further education at special times.
At the end of each session, we also set up a Q&A session where students could freely put forward their questions about the application, study, or the different lifestyles overseas. The faculty all made detailed and professional suggestions so that students would have a further understanding of their future plans.
In the end, we’d like to see more outstanding students actively apply for the overseas study programs, and SHUPL also welcomes more partners to conduct cooperation and exchange programs with us! (Written & translated by LIU Ling & WANG Si)
